Hello and Welcome!

My name is Lisa Brewster. I was born in Omaha, Nebraska, into a military family that ultimately retired in Vero Beach, FL. I am a mother of two adult children and a wife of thirty years. After working and traveling abroad, I currently work as an administrative assistant at a local construction company.

Now that my children are grown and have their own families, there has never been a better time to return to college! My favorite saying is “Never say never,” so now it is my turn to head back to campus, “virtually,” to complete my bachelor’s degree in Education Science at the University of Florida and obtain my Master's in Education. I did not have proper guidance when I was in high school, so now I desire to help young students via advising or counseling.

I have had the pleasure of traveling and living abroad. I lived in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, for five years. These years overseas taught me to embrace an inclusive culture. When I am not doing college work, I enjoy spending time with my family. Specifically, I love to play tennis and golf.
